11th year as a Private Chef

I’m embarking on my 11th year as a private chef! Sometimes, life takes you down a path that aligns with your passions. I’ve always been passionate about cooking, and I learned the art from my grandmother, Elsie Tagliaferro, and my mother, Nancy. This passion has blossomed into a successful business that has taken me across the country and beyond.


The success of my culinary journey has led to the creation of several exciting ventures. I now have my own private label Italian wine, organize group travel experiences in Italy and beyond, and run a non-profit organization called Paul Kares. Paul Kares supports young adults and children pursuing their dreams in the culinary and musical arts. Notably, Paul Kares also manages The Room at Cedar Grove concert club.


None of this would have been possible without the unwavering support of my wife, Bonnie, my friend Jim Rivette, my assistant Nina Carle and my clients and friends who believe in me and our vision. It’s been an incredible journey, and while I may not have a clear end game in mind, I’m committed to touching as many lives as possible and sharing my passion with others.
